We were excited about making the video because we had this hook-up from college! After several death threats, Megan (Camera operator and MPT student) agreed to shoot the video in a 16mm film format! The concept was kind of my idea (If you think it was a cool concept, or Budha's if you think it sucked).
The contention was that we live in this world where we associate ourselves with materialism and technology and we can live our lives subconsciously trapped around it!! Well I m sure the video meant allot more symbolically but it's been a long time and I have a bad memory because of ummmm….
The cast where our friends so we thank you with all our shallow hearts because without you guys we would have had to wear wigs and be black and white and all sorts of stuff! The things that I am really happy abt was that the cast did a good job of lip syncing to Nepali words even though they didn’t speak it. I am sorry Claire for teaching you how to say I am a $5 Ho in Nepali and pretending that it was "Hi how are you"?
I did the VFX on my spare time with the input of Rob and Budha, they are my best critiques because in their eyes I always suck. Budha kept saying "no no no no bring more cuts of me" while ROB kept saying "No bro that shot of me needs to be better "! At least we got it done and no one was hurt or bored in anyway, allot of people were just used as free actors but we fed them one free meal!!!!
Thanks Meg for shooting it and thanks crew for helping out and thanks ROB and Budha for finally not giving me directorial advises you bastards!
